Why is there a Proposition 65 warning for certain BPN products?Updated a month ago

We have the Proposition 65 warning on certain products in the Bare Performance Nutrition supplement line in order to be compliant with the law required by the State of California. There are ingredients in some of our products that are grown from the soil, which naturally contains minerals and metals that are on the list for Proposition 65. Californian law requires us to put this notice on our products if we have any ingredient that tests over 1/1000th of what the World Health Organization deems as "Safe Harbor Levels" of a large list of chemicals, including naturally occurring minerals.

You can rest assured that Bare Performance Nutrition supplements meet federal safety limits on potentially toxic substances, regardless of laws set in place by any particular state. Before ANY batch of our supplements is shipped to our distribution center from our manufacturer, they are tested for various heavy metals, microbiological contaminants, and chemical adulterants, and receive their certificates of analysis showing that they are compliant with laws set in place by the United States Pharmacopeia. We also have a dedicated page on our website with more information related to California's Prop 65 Warning.
